missions

World Missions

We currently support missionaries throughout the world in Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Thailand and Tibet.

U.S. Missions

We currently support home missionaries and ministries. These include: Cutting Edge Ministries, Life Choices, Light of Life Ministries, Pittsburgh City Outreach, Teen Challenge of Western PA, University of Pittsburgh Chi Alpha, Valley Forge Christian College Women's Choice Network and Young Life.

Other Mission Support

We support many other efforts such as short-term trips, disaster relief, and special projects on a one-time or periodic basis. Riverside Community Church also endeavors to effectively minister and meet emergency needs of the local body through benevolence gifts. Ongoing volunteer opportunities for local outreach include minstry with our Go Groups to foodbanks and ministry to the homeless, local construction projects for local residents in great need and participation in community help events.
