NEW E-BOOK FOR STUDENTS: Pastor Donnie Marsh and Melissa Terebessy have written a book to help guide students in the most important areas of their lives. Don’t Be Stupid With Your Life is a free e-book geared to Jr. and Sr. high students. This book is about not making stupid decisions in the biggest areas of your lives. Apple device owners can download the book directly from the iBooks store. File formats for other devices may be downloaded from the Nexus website (nexussm.org).

THANKS to all of you who committed to the IT'S TIME Campaign! Because of your faithful investment in the mission of RCC, we are already 1/3 of the way toward reaching our pledge goal of $1.5 million. You may follow the progress of the building project and the financial campaign at www.rccitstime.org. Anyone who would like to add a pledge may complete a Commitment Card that is attached to the It’s Time brochure or give online at www.itstime.org/campaign.

RCC MEN’S SOFTBALL TEAM: Come out to support the team at the upcoming home games this Saturday, May 25 at 6:30 PM or Saturday, June 8 at 6:30 PM. Home field is at Riverside Park in Oakmont.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Six volunteers are needed at Oakmont in order to fill the summer elementary volunteer schedule. Four are needed for the 9:00 AM service and two are needed for the 11:00 AM service. We are seeking a once-a-month commitment over the three summer months. All lessons, materials and training are provided. Please prayerfully consider being a part of this summer ministry team! SPONSORSHIPS NEEDED: Five families are in need of financial help to send their children to the Children’s Ministry Lancaster trip. The cost of the trip is $200. Any partial or full sponsorship would be greatly appreciated. CARWASH: This Saturday, May 25 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Advance Auto in Harmarville. Let students from Nexus wash your car squeaky clean! All proceeds benefit Relay for Life, an event that raises funds for the American Cancer Society.

RCC YARD SALE: Saturday, June 1 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church in Oakmont. All proceeds benefit the Nexus Student Ministries building project. Pick up a flyer at the Connection Center for information, including a list of items to donate and details on volunteering. SUMMER SMALL GROUPS: Sign up for the small group of your choice on Sunday, June 2. Small Group brochures are now available.

MOVIE NIGHT: Friday, June 7 at 7:00 PM at the Mills site. Come as we watch Courageous. Four men, one calling: to serve and protect. When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith and their fathering. Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. GRADUATE RECOGNITION SUNDAY: Sunday, June 9 at all services. If you are a recent high school, technical school or college graduate, we invite you to come forward on Sunday morning for congratulations and a prayer! Please designate on the Connection Card which service you will attend.

NEWCOMER'S RECEPTION: Sunday, June 9 at 6:00 PM at the Mills site. All new attenders of RCC who would like to meet the leadership and learn more about the church are welcome. Please sign up on the Connection Card if you plan to attend.

CHRISTIANITY 101 SEMINAR: Saturday, June 15 from 9:00 – 11:30 AM in Room 105 in Oakmont. This class is for anyone new to RCC who is interested in learning more about the church and is a prerequisite for those considering membership. Please sign up on the Connection Card if you plan to attend.

MEMBERSHIP CLASS: Saturday, June 15 from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM (following the 101 Seminar) in Room 105 in Oakmont. All those desiring to become members must attend this class after attending the Christianity 101 Seminar. Please sign up on the Connection Card if you plan to attend.

CPR/AED CLASS: Saturday, June 22 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Mills site. RCC is offering a CPR/AED certification class led by David Bianco from CPR Simplicity. The cost is $20 and covers all materials. To register, drop a check into the offering with “CPR Class” written on the memo line by Sunday, June 16 and check the box on the Connection Card. BAPTISM SERVICE: Sunday, June 23 during the 9:00 and 11:00 AM services at the RCC Mills site. If you wish to be water baptized, please sign up on the Connection Card and pick up a water baptism brochure (sign-up form inside) at the Connection Center. Please note that water baptism is a prerequisite for church membership.
